Hi there, welcome to our website
We are the first two stories telling children what sport is like for the sports equipment; the goalposts who can talk to each other, a rugby ball who grows bigger, tennis nets who are kicked by the players and equipment from 6 other sports, who will be telling their stories soon.
We have been created by Chris Blount, who got the idea (he says) while working at The Story Museum in Oxford (www.storymuseum.org.uk), where he was surrounded by lots of clever people writing children’s books. Apparently, he has written 6 more stories, and they will all have lovely pictures like ours.
The idea is to get kids to learn about the sports, and enjoy them, especially if you can get really, really muddy!
Of course, we know you don’t get really muddy playing tennis or skating or running and jumping or swimming or playing cricket, but they are all just as much fun.
